Obesity is a world-wide problem. The obesity problem is reaching countries such as China, Japan and even Korea, where the population weight had never been a source of concern in the past. It seems that nobody is safe from the ever expanding waistline. So what is making us so fat as a species? Poor nutrition can be the only answer. Based on the old adage “we are what we eat” it should be clear that our health and nutrition is severely compromised.Our ever-expanding girth should come as no surprise when fast food restaurants spring-up like weeds, individual serving sizes can feed at least two people and food quality has decreased.
